Funding and Bid Manager (Part-time)
Feeling the rush of winning a funding bid. Building relationships within the corporate and public sectors. Seeing your successes grow a revolutionary youth media project. It’s all in a day’s work for the Fundraising Manager at Live East.
Live East Magazine is East London’s leading publication for young people by young people, and is the sister publication of the long-established and successful South London-based Live Magazine. Currently funded by Central Government, Live East’s primary aim is to engage local young people in positive activities centering around media, and improve their lives.
We need a confident bid writer and funding expert who can build relationships with potential funders and attract public and private money to a successful youth social enterprise, with a proven track record of winning bids. Working with the Live Futures project team, you’ll need to hunt down opportunities and respond quickly, within a fast-paced social enterprise environment.
We like people who are flexible, organised, driven, accountable and passionate about what they do. Good shoes and a good sense of humour are a plus.

I happened to be doing a bit of work-related research in Yahoo today and came across your blog. I have to admit that I have gotten a lttle bit sidetracked going through and looking at a few of your posts… I should probably be working. Carry on the great writing and i’m already looking towards reading future posts. Enjoy the week!
