In good company…

Livity goes Green

So everybody seems to be going gardening mad lately, including us!

There’s the guerrilla gardener in Shoreditch planting little gardens in potholes in the roads, Bo Jo is backing a campaign to get more Londoners growing something edible in our old teacups and even the lovely Stella McCartney is encouraging us to use our imagination and recycle old handbags as growbags (err…. don’t think I’ll be trying this) to prove that you really can grow your own veg anywhere.

Livity made a new year’s resolution back in January to really improve our green credentials and become carbon neutral. We’ve also signed up to the 10:10 campaign to help us on our journey so we get plenty of ideas and support along the way. We have each planted a different herb basil, rocket, coriander, tomatoes, oregano, lettuce, oriental salad leaf and chilli pepper seeds in little pots.

Our office is such an amazingly sunny space that we’re feeling really confident that we’ll be able to grow lots of stuff that we can enjoy for our lunches. Come on chilli pepper, you can do it!

I’m happy to report that so far it’s a definite success story, so stay posted and find out who wins!
