Red Bull: Flugelbinder

What the flug is a Flugelbinder? This is the question we posed with the launch of flugelbinder.co.uk, a world’s first web site for catching ideas. The name flugelbinder comes from the 80s film Cocktail starring Tom Cruise: an imaginary name for a product that made someone somewhere a millionaire. Or something. The site was Livity’s own brainwave, developed as a secure online vault for storing thoughts, finding inspiration, meeting like-minded 'ideas' people and dishing out ladles of advice on how to take the schemes further. To promote the site Red Bull aviators gave out 'the world’s smallest kites' at events while the spectacular 15 metre-long Flugelbinder uberkite flew overhead. Meanwhile, the Art of Daydreaming magazine including contributions from top authors, photographers, illustrators and content to inspire daydreaming and ideas.
